Between the lines

Like many archivists, I am a "career-changer." I have a Masters of Information from Rutgers University where my coursework concentrated on archival management, including theory and practice. My personal passion focuses on ethics of care in the archives and access to archives through a social justice lens, including using metadata to surface information and stories that deserve additional attention.

My professional background was in academic publishing, working with libraries and consortia. I had the privilege of collaborating with groups like CRKN and OhioLink and a variety of librarians, administrations, and procurement offices at universities of all sizes. In addition to marketing and customer-facing roles, much of my previous career was project-oriented. I have team management experience, and I have worked collaboratively as both a project manager and a subject matter expert to represent the interests of all parties within the scholarly and academic ecosystem.
